This section of tutorial give you a guide on how to use the G-Graph on the Win4D Advance software.
How to estimate the Gap Range ?
This is the most difficult part in plotting the graph. You will need to study the graph over and over again to find the best point to plot. Some graph cannot find a good plotting points.
The rules for drawing the line are,
Rule 1: Must use two lowest gap hit points. Do NOT take the zero gap point.
Rule 2: Always use the latest points that you can find. Sometime, there are a few, try to plot them separately. Usually I will try to pick the baseline slope that follow the same direction as the moving average lines. You may need some practise to get it right.
Rule 3: Not all line plotting will hit. Sometime it will hit earlier than expected, sometime slightly late.
Drawing Resistance line
Resistance line is drawn using two highest peak points possible. This is gave us a guideline to spot changes of cycle. Sometime, this line can also falls into the hit range path.

Drawing Base Line method
Drawing Baseline is how we use to find the hitting path of a system number. When plotting this line, always use the lowest points "A" to "B" that you can find. You will need to draw a Hit line parallel to the Base line and touch a nearest reference point. Reference points can be any point near the point "A". Most graphs follow the hitting path at a very short time, so try not to use reference points that are too far. The hit ranges are calculated by checking the intersection point at the current gap line with the Hit line. For ABCD system number, usually the tolerance is about +/- 1 gap. For AABC system, the tolerance will be +/- 2 gaps.
Usually when the Hit line slope is in the same direction of the moving average lines, the confidence hit level will be higher.
A good example is the latest winning 1367 system number,

Another example of 0239 2nd prize

Example of 3579 - 2nd prize.
However, one must understand that this method will not work in all graph.
Next lesson, I will touch on the another simple method of reading graph.
This G-Graph is the most advance graph for analysing 4-D statistic. It is avaliable in the Win4D Advance software.
