For today, I will be touching on the topic of analysis using the Last Gap. This is known as spotting the awakening Giant that have slept for a long time. In order for us to have a better understanding on the Last Gap I would like to show the steps on how we can use the Win4D Advance to derive the Last Gap.

Step1 choose the data base option. In this instance we are looking at the Saturday and Sunday Data Base Option For Discussion. This Data I am showing is current as at 25 Feb 2004.

Step 2 click on the Summary Button.

Maximise the draw range to see the whole history.

In order to sort by Last Gap you have to click on the Last Gap button. From the above data one could see that sys number 3568 has a Last Gap of 105.

The above data is showing the summary of the sys number 3568. From this data one could see how the Last Gap is derive. The Gap 105 is referring that after this sys number 3568 have a hit on the 25 Jan 2003 it finally have a hit after a lapse of 105 draw which is on the 25 Jan 2004 almost a year later.

Now lets take a look further on how the Last Gap Data helps in our analysis of 4D number. On logic reason 4D numbers that have not appear for a long time and when it starts to appear, under normal circumstances it usually have a chance of repeat hit within the next 10 draw and have a chance for a Top 3 prize hit as well. It may not happen on all situation but there are such occurrence.

One of the good example is sys number 4567 below is the summary data of sys number 4567.

From the above data, one could see after a lapse of 120 draws from 12 Oct 2002 it has a consolation hit on the 6 Dec 2003. Immediately within the 2 draws on the 13 Dec 2003 there is another hit with a 3rd Prize Winning.

Okay let’s get back to the first data on Last Gap Sys number 3568, 0367 and 1267. When choosing the numbers using the Last Gap one of the rules applies, is that the Next Gap preferable not more than half of the Average Gap. For instance Sys number 3568 the Next Gap is only 9 while the Average Gap is 20 and half is 10 so it is within range. The other 2 points to take note of is that Frequency and Trend Graph are important to look at as well.

Below is the picture showing the Trend Graph of sys number 0367. The Trend Graph is the Web Tools make available to Gold Members only.

If one will to base on T-graph sys number 0367 appear to be a better set of number because of the trend line is pointing upward, a sign of reversal trend.

However if base on Frequency Hit sys number 1267 is certainly a better set.
